How to Integrate Google Search Console With DigitalBull GO

Google Search Console can be viewed and accessed directly from the DigitalBull GO platform. It is present under the ‘Tools’ module and is the second of five tools.

GSC No Data Available

If you haven’t connected GSC with DigitalBull GO, you will see a message that says “No Data Available”. Follow this step-by-step process to resolve this issue.

Step 1 - Settings

The first step of integrating Google Search Console is to view the ‘Settings’ panel. After logging into the Google Search Console platform with the account you want to integrate, click on ‘Settings’ in the lower left corner of the menu.

Step 2 - Users and Permissions

The ‘Settings’ window should open up, showcasing Property settings. This is where you can add and remove properties. 

There are two rows in the Settings window: 

  • Ownership verification
  • Users and permissions

Click on ‘Users and permissions’ under the Ownership verification row.

Step 3 - Add User

After you click on ‘Users and permissions’, you should see a window with the same name. This is where you can find the details for all the existing accounts that have access to your Google Search Console and what permissions each account has.

Click on the blue ‘ADD USER’ button in the upper right corner.

Step 4 - Enter Google Email

Now, we come to the fourth step. We’re more than halfway there. Upon clicking ‘ADD USERS’, you will be taken to the ‘Add User’ window. Here, you can enter another email address and add a new user.

We’re almost at the end, so don’t worry. 

Step 5 - Approve Access

Go to the ‘Enter a valid Google account email’ section of the ‘Add user’ window. Enter the email address exactly as shown in the image. 

The address is analytics(at)myfirstanalytics-161412.iam.gserviceaccount.com This is our email for connecting our DigitalBull GO platform with Google Search Console.

Be sure to grant all permissions. You can do this by selecting ‘Full’ in the Permission dropdown box:

To grant access, click on ‘ADD’ in the bottom right of the ‘Add user’ window. It is next to ‘CANCEL’.

Double check that you’ve given access to the correct account.

Step 6 - GSC URL

Your URL is key for the integration to occur. Go to the homepage of your website or the website you wish to integrate.

Copy your URL from the address bar and proceed to the last step.

Step 7 - Enter in DigitalBull GO

Enter your login details into DigitalBull GO, click on the ‘Tools’ module and go to the ‘Search Console’ tool. Click on the yellow plus sign (+) in the lower right corner and a popup will appear.

Enter the URL you copied into the Search Console ID field and click ‘Save’ to save the ID.

Finally, refresh the platform and the data from your GSC should get pulled and appear.
